As a department, we enjoy phenomenal success on many fronts, especially in terms of our research and scholarly productivity. Accounting and Information Systems faculty conduct research in a number of areas: 1) financial accounting, 2) auditing, 3) managerial accounting, 4) tax, 5) governance, and 6) information systems. The issues are addressed from a variety of perspectives and methodologies—analytical, archival, experimental, surveys, case studies, field studies, and simulations. We invite you to peruse our recent newsletters for further evidence of the depth and breadth of research being conducted at MSU and the impact it is having on real-world practice and behavior. What follows is merely a snapshot of recent recognition for the research contributions of our faculty.
