On occasion faculty may hire students to assist them. The faculty usually hires students they know from previous classes, etc. Students should talk with faculty about their interest in employment.

Graduate Assistantships

Graduate assistantships are available to M.S. students. Please indicate on your application if you would like to be considered. Please note that most of the funding for these goes to the doctoral students, so space is limited. However, various other departments on campus hire graduate assistants.

At this time, there are several scholarship opportunities available. Numerous fellowships of $2,000 will be awarded annually to students in the M.S. in Accounting Program. Students will be notified of these opportunities through email, class announcements, and/or through the department listserv. Typically, the scholarship application will be available starting in December of each year. The deadline for submission is around the third week in January. Applications must be completed by January 1 in order to qualify for a scholarship.
