Welcome to the Department of Accounting & Information Systems

The Department of Accounting and Information Systems is home to one of the nation’s top accounting programs. The undergraduate program was ranked 14th nationally (7th among public universities) in the 2011-12 U.S. News & World Report and 11th (8th among public universities) in the 2011 Public Accounting Report’s annual survey of accounting professors. The MS in Accounting program is also highly ranked–14th (11th among public universities) in the 2010 Public Accounting Report survey, and in this same publication the PhD program in accounting is ranked 16th in the nation for both research and teaching (13th among public universities).
